Thread: Honing services in western Washington State

Looking for honing services local to where I am at....Puget Sound area? Anyone out there?

That is a good question. I have just barely started with a straight razor and have not gotten far enough to need that service as of yet. Of the few places that I have been that actually sell blades, I have not seen any that I would trust with my blade. The only place that I could even suggest would be the Shave Shop in Bell Square Mall in Bellevue. If they don't do it, they may know if someone in the area does.

I know we have a ton of members over that way in fact we are thinking of a meet in Portland come April....
I have never heard of a "place" anywhere that shapens razors. we have heard of a ton of wrecked razors when people let "Knife Guys" touch them. so before you let anyone put your razor on a stone ask to see theire razor that they shaved with that morning...
