On the soft soul within.
I like challenging stereotypes. And I was just thinking, there are few places I've ever seen that do it better than SRP.
If only all the world saw this place where men talk about "undertones of lavender" and "the moisturising properties of a good soap." Or what about "the luxury of a badger brush," "the complex beauty of the wood on those scales," or "I don't NEED more razors, but I WANT them!"
We are lead to believe men are this way and women are that, but really, we're all people. We all appreciate a delicious smell, a bit of self-pampering. I've seen men here enthusiastically endorse "Nancy Boy" soap. And whoever came up with that name, they were probably of a similar stereotype-challenging nature to myself.
The collective sighs of adoration that would sweep through women of the world if they knew there were so many men who appreciate a good moisturiser as much as they do!
Sorry, just thinking out loud.

Hehe! Good post!
Its true though!
My other half calls all my soaps and skin food my "man products". She finds it rather funny that I'm out there getting all in a lather (if you'll excuse the pun!) about some soap...!

Depending on the day of the week, my working hours look like scholarship or lumberjacking... but my mornings always look like what I imagine Queer Eye for the Straight Guy backstage to look like...
rinse, soak, lather, pat not rub!, soap, cream, shave, hot water, cold water, astringent, balm, powder, scent....
