I don't think that his technique is the focal point of the video, nor was it intended to be. You want to see a great shaving video with good technique, no cuts, AND booze and tobacco? Check out the one that johnnytastetest did. Awesome. I am just taking the side of the argument that what we are daily partaking in is by far NOT the natural experience of normal men (and women) and that the run of the mill person seeing this might be negatively influenced. It's bad enough trying to either:

A. Convince people that shaving with a straight is not so bad
or
B. Try to convince them to take up wet shaving

without some jackass posting crap like this.

Ha ha, I was actually thinking that as I watched this (before reading your comment)... your's was much better, but this guy is kinda funny.... my favorite is when he tells the camera a little blood is nothing to worry about.

gosh, that video was scary, I wouldn't even shave with my cartridge razor while drunk, let alone a straight razor. I thought that guy was going to Sweeney Todd himself.
