Whisker Map: Update
So I updated the Whisker map to do more what I was intending it to do in the first place. You can now highlight sections by turning on the highlighter when you select a section of the face and you can add illustrations to the picture so when someone posts a question this can be used by anyone to help illustrate their explanation (could be used to make wiki pictures as well).
I still need to clean up some of the code, do some touch up, create a preloader, and create a help manual. Yet I thought I'd throw it up so everyone can play with what I have so far.
(EDIT: forgot to add the link http://www.pbjsite.com/shave/whiskarmap/ )
So let's say someone comes in and posts a thread with a question for their trouble area...
"I'm having trouble with those stubborn chin whiskers"
Someone may want to use the program to illustrate their response...
"Try using a buffing guillotine stroke."
someone else may come in and throw in their technique...
"Try stretching the corners of your chin and doing a XTG pass"
So I hope this tool is of some use, The controls are pretty basic but let me know if you have any questions, comments, suggestions.
(ALSO: If you want to remove an illustration picture from the screen, ctrl click the X on the items control bar. I will try to add a drag/drop trash can in the future).Last edited by TheBaron; 01-27-2010 at 01:25 AM.

Whisker Map Update
Ladies and gentlemen:
The Whisker Map is taking shape.
I emphasize, however, that stroke and direction noted on the face must be regarded as general, since individual faces, beard direction and shaving technique are different among shavers.
Those new to the world of straight razor shaving should study the Whisker Map carefully and incorporate the moves within their individual style as it develops naturally. The world of straight razor shaving leaves ample room for variation.
What an excellent job so far on the Whisker Map. You are true artists.
Regards,
Obie

Just updated with the following...
help pop up added
preloader added
spelling corrections
cleaned up code
text bounding box removed from output (text entry still available)
(deutsch version not updated with above changes).
Let me know if you run into issues or have further suggestions, I will try to update when I can.
Also, if the site developers think this is a worthy tool I'll be glad to send the files over to be added to SRP's servers. Just let me know who to send em to.
