Thanked: 0need help identifying my Henckels twin works 410
Hi all, new here trying to learn about what i have here. A friend gave this razor to me, and only recently have i been interested to see if i can find out some more on it.
i have a J.A. Henckels Twin Works Solingen 410. there are no visible flaws that i can see in the blade except some cosmetic issues that i would love to know whether i can fix or not.
searched where i could but nothing turned up.
any help would be greatly appreciated. i would love to know if this is one is something worth doing some work on.

pics aren't working yet, but that is a great brand... likely a good razor unless there are problems that we can't see yet.

Thanked: 1903Very nice Henckels, and not in our database yet. Would you mind submitting it? You need to log in to the Wiki first, then fill in the submission form in my signature. We have a bit of background information about the manufacturer there, too: http://straightrazorpalace.com/srpwi...enckels,_J._A. (and quite a few other razors made by Henckels).
Regards,
Robin

Thanked: 0just did! only thing is that i need to get a better picture of it for that database. i will update it as soon as i can get my hands on a better camera.
looking very closely at the blade itself there a few very minor chips in it. I will try to get some better photos of the flaws, but is there any advice on restoring this, and can i remove those little chips?
based off of the database faq, i determined that it's a extra hollow (based on the images), is a 5/8", double stabilizers, lower jimps, and a square point.
i'd love to learn more about this razor and really would like to restore this or get some pointers on restoring it to it's original beauty.
I live in chicago, IL and meeting some of you guys that would have some input on it would be great!
