Anyone used this knife sharpening system?

I think that Bruno has shaved with an ax. To answer the obvious question....because he could. As I recall he just wanted to see if he could do it.

It is not a miracle thing to sharpen any axe, knife or scissors so sharp that they cut the hair. I usually do so when sharpening chisels or plane blades.
Another question is why? On the tools you need relatively sharp blades that last. Not ultra sharp that are useless in the job they are meant.

Ah. That's John Juranitch. Wrote a book on sharpening which is pretty interesting read. IIRC, no razors there though.
