Thread: Many Thanks

Just wanted to thank everyone in this forum who takes the
time to help newbies like me.

The stropping is going quite well. Since I did not shave this
morning I could not resist trying out my new stropping job
this afternoon.

It was my closest shave yet, not baby butt smooth as I can
feel a little stubble rubbing against the grain, but who cares,
I'm shaving with a straight razor by golly.

I even managed to shave against the grain to an extent.
I also wipe the blade on a damp wash cloth ( not touching
the edge ). I like this because I can see results in the lather,
even on the third pass.

I think I will start shaving in the afternoon, can just take
my time and relax. Will probably just use the straight exclusivly
and drop the weekends only thing. I guess by DE is retired.
