    Default It Burns! It Burns!

So I woke up late today and didn't get a chance to shave this morning, which usually is alright since my job has me in my cubicle with very little contact with anyone besides my immediate cube-mates.

Today, unfortunately, I forgot about a high-level meeting I had to attend with our senior management and some outside consultants. I'm dressed alright, but being not shaven would not go over very well, but luckily, my long-ago discarded electric razor is kept here at work for just such emergencies. I even have some Lectric Shave pre-shave treatement, and some Nivea ASB as well.

So I set off to the washroom, and shave - at first, I'm thinking, yeah, this is fast but really not at all relaxing - I like my wetshaving so much better. Then I finish up the shave, and think, heh, pretty close for an electric, this ain't so bad.

...then 30 minutes later, all I can think of is "Holy mother! It Burns! It burns! Oh, sunnova [bleeep!]...Ow!!!"

Just thought that this might make you appreciate your shave a little more today.

The other morning I had to shave quickly so I used a disposable. I hadn't shaved with anything but a straight razor for at least a couple of months. I never had razor burn so bad. I don't know if it was the razor or the shaving cream or a combination.

Now back to real life, that will teach you to forget to shave...
