Thread: Shaving in the big "Boot"

Gentlemen,

So nice to catch up on the posts here. Greetings to all the new guys and congratulations on your choice of dipilliatory skill. I'm sure that you'll find as much enjoyment in the craft as well as the excellent conversation here.

I'm still slowly getting intigrated here in Italy. What a great place to live! Europe seems to be the land of the big sink. I'm moving into my new home this week and am happy to say that it boasts an excellent sink for shaving. As a matter of fact there seems to be more accessories in the bathroom than I am used to. It has a sink, a bathtub, a toilette and a special bowl for washing your feet! (I'm not really that naive).

Anyway, I'm heading into the city to find stuff for my apartment and see if I can't get the lowdown on some shaving gear.

I never did understand how you USA guys fill their sinks and wash face and shave from that water! yikes!!!

That special bowl is called a Bidet, the "t" is silent. I've installed a few over the years. The ladies love them. I also understand they're a standard fixture in Brothels.lol

It is the cleanest feeling you will have all day, and I will keep from being crass about what it improves on women.

What part of Italy? I lived by Milan for a while. it took me a long time to get used to wiping clean without rinsing after.....
