    Default Pre shave prep

But of a different sort, do you give a pre warning to folk that you're about to shave, lock the doors or have some other way perhaps.

With a de not a problem but this straight shaving really has me on edge, not my technique which still needs lots of work it's the fact that people in the house love barging in unannounced that combined with a straight would be very messy indeed.

    So what do you do?

If i was worried about someone busting down the door, I would lock it.

I expect distraction, and even welcome it. It helps me learn to focus

Tiger Woods trained that way, and see how successful he is at keeping away from distractions?

I've been shaving in the Locker room at the Y lately. Can't get much more busy than that but folks are generally careful not to run into someone at the mirror shaving. Unless you are shaving in a spot where you can get hit by the door, let life happen around you. My 2-year old son loves to shave with me. I need to find him a nice toy straight razor, he uses a toy DE right now. If you are in a spot where the door can hit you either lock it or find a new place to shave. Getting hit by a door while shaving is not something I want to contemplate.

I don't know if you found something for your son or not. But I know in the beauty stores have what looks like a plastic straight razor. I think you use it with some cream I don't know. Any it wouldn't hurt to check it out. I think it is cool that son shave with his dad. How precious.

I haven't seen any toy razors in the beauty shops around here, I'll keep my eyes open.

His wife swings better than he does, though.
