Just out of my range
. Let me tell you at AOS on Madison the sales help didn't seem to know too much about str8 shaving only on how to hawk the scents, which I may add I didn't think too much of.

The one here in Miami is the same its set up in one of the (if not the ) most expensive area/mall near the beach at Bal Harbor. all the rich shop there.
you should read about the couple that started this buisness .

both are interesting reads. its obvious they have a book out as well. I give them credit because they are spending in marketing and re-sparking an intrest in shaving and taking care of a mans face.
Thank god for fourms like this, I made the mistake of buying two of their products ($$$$$$$) because I did not research enough. their not bad but I have found better and cheaper. his wife is the "PHD" who created all the ingreadients and aromatherepy ...Gotta give them credit they are doing very well and have found people that will lay down the cash for the packaging ,marketing and pampering service.

ya there is no deals with AOS, although I do happen to like their lavender scent. I have to admit, that they do have one good purchase wich is their starter shaving kit (sans the razor). Its $38.00 you get a badger brush, shave oil, shave cream, and aftershave. They are all the same scent so you dont have to match them up, and the badger brush is not bad at all, I still use mine, of course its the only one I have...but no real complaints.

Thanked: 0When I go get the Royal Shave at AOS I will need to try the Lavender.
I have purchased the unscented unfourtunately. I too like the smell of Lavender.
I was looking at an older post: search " recepie" then go soap DIY
which gets into making or adding essential oils to make your own.
AOS uses a rose hydrosol in between shaving to refreash your face.
I found it here way cheaper and have even learned to do it from a web site (I will not attempt.) http://www.mountainroseherbs.com/lea...ishydrosol.php
but this goes to show how people create then market to the prices. Can you imagine the overhead to run the AOS stores in thier current locations???
they want people who do not care about spending, but their products are not worth the price. I remember using ZIRH products, but have given up on thier shave cream cannot get it to lather with my brush.Last edited by nunz4; 02-15-2006 at 06:57 PM.
