    This is one thing about TV police shows that annoys me. A group of law enforcement officers will have guns drawn and aimed at the bad guy but all the trigger fingers will be resting on the trigger guard. Not one finger on the trigger ready to shoot the bad guy. Quite often the bad guy gets shot without a finger having touched the trigger.

    You are correct in that magazines hold ammo, but clips are used to load a magazine.

    Actually a clip loads from the top and a magazine from the bottom.

    Revolvers use clips, which is neither top nor bottom.

    Yeah i noticed the same thing in sweenie and was like wtf? You'd figure a movie about a guy and his razor they do a bit more research. I went on a rant for 15min after that. Plus all the musical crap ruined the movie... watched 20min before turning it off.

    One that particularly bothered me was scenes in murder mysteries, when the killer obviously used a revolver bt they still managed to find a shell casing, now as far as i recall revolvers tend not to eject casings.....
