    Lightbulb Want to Use a Custom for a Week?

    The steel for the customs I am going to make has been sitting on my workbench for a while now. I am going to try and get a couple razors done before I move into my new digs, but I can't promise anything. It may be August before I actually get it done. The first one will not be for sale... but here is what I figure to do with it. I wanted to run it by you guys to see what you think.

    Once it is finished I will mail it (free) to the first person on the list. The person who receives it gets to use it for a little bit an then mails it out to the next person on the list. Then that person mails it to the next on the list an so on.

    The only rules are:

    • No honing... but pasted stropping is ok. If it needs to be honed, check with me first. The meisters will be allowed to dress it up if necessary.
    • Razor must be shipped at your own expense Priority Mail w/ delivery confirmation, without exception, on the Monday following its arrival to you to the next person on the list. That means you would get to use it for a few days for around $5 unless you got lucky and have to send it to a Canada guy next. That would be more. We may have to put the Canada/Europe guys at the bottom of the list. Suggestions?
    • I will maintain the list on who to send it to next. You can use the razor for free for the few days left of the week in which it was shipped to you. In other words, it got mailed on Monday, got to you by Wednesday, so you'd have Thur, Fri, Sat, Sun to use it.
    • On a separate thread, we can keep track of where the razor is at. The person in possesion of the razor indicates that it was sent to the next person on the list and who it was sent to.
    If you are interested in having it sent to you, respond to this thread by saying so. It can be as simple as "Put me on the list." You don't have to do any more than that. However, if you haven't put you chit in here to have it sent to you, it can't get there, now can it?

    Also answer the poll to let me know what you think...
