Thumbs up Thought I'd join the crowd!

Hey guys, I'm new to SR shaving and love the entire process. I have been reading the posts and trying to gain some experience in honing and the like. I discovered Classic Shaving and was able to get a Hencekles to Lynn to hone. For a newbie like me, having an example of what a properly honed and sharpened razor should sound like on the hanging strop and better yet, shave like was a big help. I'm not shy about asking questions. Always felt like: Why reinvent the wheel. Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself and join the fray if that's OK. Rod.

You'll fit right in here. Nothing we like more than questioning. Except maybe bragging. Henckels is a damn good razor and Lynn is legendary (all hail Lynn). I forsee many Transcendant shaves in your future.

As many others have said, welcome! A great bunch of guys here.

I have a Henckel's razor, and like it a lot. I think when you get it back, and it's sharp, you'll enjoy many wonderful shaves.

    Rod,
Welcome to the club, I wish this was a tavern or meeting group in someone's backyard so that you could have introduced yourself with some of that famous North Carolina Bar-B-Q, but welcome to the forum anyway.

    Default Welcome Rod

You will find that this is a great forum with a great bunch of friendly guys. I really haven't seen a stupid question yet that someone probably in the back of there minds isn't wondering about anyway and besides it is review for most of us. I know that I have seen some questions that I should have asked but just didn't get around to asking. Anyway, and believe me, asking on this site will no doubt answer all of your questions and don't feel bad about doing so. I am sure that I ask some that were wondered about but noone made me feel bad about asking it.

    Welcome aboard,
if anything has been abnormal for a long enough period it then becomes normal.
