Thread: Yowch!

I decided to use one of my leftover disposable razors as a quick alternative to a straight since I didn't have an hour to devote to my usual routine, and man do I regret it!

I had a lot of nicks on my neck and moustache areas that bled pretty well. I feel smooth, but it stings something awful touching the left side of my face.

That'll teach me to never substitute a crappy razor in exchange for a quicker shave. Definitely not gonna try that again unless I get a mach 3 or something; I'll probably take it slower too.

You probably didn't pre your face/beard properly before attempting to shave. If it had been sitting in your bathroom a long time, the blade(s) of the disposable may have been corroded to.

At any rate, glad to hear that you survived the "Attack of the Dispasable Razor." Maybe one day you can make movie based on your horrifying experience.

I used my normal prep and the blade still gleamed, but I'm thinking I just handled it wrong. Too used to the straight taking every bit of lather off and knowing if it got a hair or not.

Heh, I like that idea for a movie. Maybe see if a buddy of mine might want to goof around making a video or something.
