Rich, as far as injuries go, I've had my worst with Gillette products because I tried to get the most out of the expensive cartridges after the standard two good shaves they gave. Maybe they use Pakistani steel in their cartridges, those $#*&&#@&^!!!!!!

Thanked: 0Thank you all for taking the time to respond and welcome me, I very much appreciate it. Unfortunately, all the men in my family use electric razors and only cringe when I ask about what was used before, so all stories and history lessons are welcomed. I'm very encouraged to hear that going to the barber was not the norm for everybody and yet they lived to tell about. I'll now put away the kevlar suit I've been wearing while shaving, call off my lawyers and just take my time! (Though I will continue to lock the bathroom door to avoid any surprises.)
I really have enjoyed reading all of posts and threads on this site and look forward to what comes.
Best,

Rich,
This is really an addictive hobby. I call it that because if it was just about shaving we would all have one razor and not a collection. I have nicked myself pretty good when I wasn't paying all the attention this calls for or when I was feeling cocky. A little nick will happen every now and again no big deal I have done worst with a mock3. A good sharp razor with a light touch is all you need. Welcome.
