Epoxy. I like the Loctite and Versachem 5 minute epoxies (they set in 5 minutes, but let them cure overnight). Both are extremely tough. Make sure the bristles are completely dry before gluing, and it wouldn't hurt to run some 60 grit sandpaper around the brush cavity (lightly), to give the epoxy a better surface to hold on to. You should have some glue attached to the knot of the brush as well (since that's what they put it in there with originally), so rough it up, too.

I don't know which type of epoxy it is, but Shavemac is a pretty stand-up company from what I hear. They might repair/replace it for you. If you don't want to wait, they might tell you what to use to do it yourself.

Thanked: 0Thanks, I contacted Bernd, here is what he said:
Hello Caesar ,
"I regret that you have got this trouble with the brush.
Please try to fix the knot into the handle by using super glue.
If this do not work please sent the brush back to me.
Best Regards. Bernd Blos"
I don't think I want to use super glue. your right , it looks like epoxy because of the grey color plug holding the badger hairs together.Last edited by nunz4; 03-22-2006 at 03:10 PM.
