    Question Books of Razors

I am very new to straight razor shaving and I am already starting to develop an urge to procure a vintage razor and restore it. I would actually like to get my hands on many vintage razors. This leads to a problem, I have a good idea of maybe one percent of the brands and models of razors to look for but that's it. So I wanted to know if there are any books available that I could use to reference the thousands of different razors to determine whether a razor would or would not be worth the time and money.

I don't know about any books like that, though there may be a more experienced member who does. However I've found that I can probably learn just about anything about any maker or razor from the forums and wiki here. So if it turns out such a book doesn't exist, I'd advise going to places such as the show and tell section of the forums or the various razor clubs here. And if you ever have a question about a specific razor or something, I know the people here would be more than happy to help you out.

    Good luck!
