    My take on it is that if I don't like the scales, I can always replace'em, unless it's a nice antique piece.

    I have a small fetish for wood actually so I look for that and a great blade. Doesn't stop me from buying an eBay razor with bad scales. that's just an excuse to get Bill to put some Ironwood on it.

    One of these days, I'm going to have to order, or make, some of those. I think I've reached the point where I'm not so interested in acquiring more, as I am perfecting the ones I already have. Now it's time to start trading.
