    Default OUCH!

I've been shaving with a Dovo for about two years now. I've nicked myself a few times, but nothing major.

The other day, I was in something of a hurry and picked up my razor from the counter, already open. It swung closed on my ring finger.

Figures, my only major shaving wound, and it's on my bloody (ha-ha) hand.

I learned something: slow down and be more careful!

Did that with a folding knife when I was a teenager. Welcome to the club!

I continue to be amused by people who cut themselves and immediately run for their cameras!

The link in my initial post should show you the damage. No stitches, just some paper towel and medical tape.

It's amazing how much blood you can lose from a finger wound

Sounds like a razor direly in need of pin-tightening!

    Ouch indeed!

I find cuts with straight razors bleed like stink because the cut is so clean and fine. If you scrape yourself on something it hardly bleeds at all, but a straight razor cut seems to bleed for ages, and you lose about two pints of blood.

    Hope that heals up quickly!
