    absolutely.. i went ahead and purchased a small latch and lock from the 99¢ store.. it screwed into my wooden wine box of a shave den just fine.. i'm sure anyone with a small screw driver could just break it open with a little leverage.. but it will definitely keep the 2 and 3 year old out.. they are the ones i have to worry about...
