Thanked: 2Razor Identification....66 on tang and two arrows in a circle SW and NE
I have a straight that I'm fixing up that I don't know anything about. It's a black 6/8's (i think) and the only markings are a circle with two arrows pointing upward at 10 and 2 o'clock with a 66 after it. Do you have any ideas?

Thanked: 2I am very surprised, that razor looks a LOT like mine. The only difference is my point is a bit more rounded (may just be the angle) and mine doesn't say 'CHINA' or whatever under the 66, just the 66.
The razor came rusted and I'm in the process of restoring it. I'm glad it'll turn out to be a good razor.
Does anyone else have any additional information about it or why mine just has 66 and no mention of origin?

Thae one in the link is definately a square point and
yours sounds like a round point.
I would guess that the 66 is a model number or something.
Why no mention of China? Not sure. I believe that goods
sold in the US have to have the nation of origion on them.
Perhaps this was produced for sale in another english
speaking country..... then I may just be talking out my a**.
I have a razor with the same trademark, but with the number
200. I don't think that it has China either, but the plastic
pouch it came in does. I made some passes on a Tony Miller
paddle strop ( 20 on 1.0 and 20 on .5 ) and the thing actually
shaved, before doing this it would not.
