Thread: Krauss razor ?

Bought a cheap ebay razor a couple of weeks ago, had to do a little work on it to clean it up\hone, I have had to re hone a few times before I was happy with it.
The Razor gave me a super shave this morning, real close & smooth, I am really pleased with it, in fact it has given me as close a shave as the Revisor I picked up from John Crowley and that one is a Peach.

My question is that I had never heard of the Manufacturer "Krauss" before. The razor has "Made in Germany" on one side of the tang & just the name "Krauss" on the other, Razor has a 6/8 blade, 3 pins & black celluloid Scales with no mention of Solingen whatsoever.
Has anyone heard of the manufacturer or got one of these and if so how is it performing for you ?

There's more razors like that around. I own a Kratz...(sounds similar????) that I picked up for 10 euro's.

I was just checking e-bay germany and saw LOADS of brands there that were made at one point in the last century....
