Any one else name their razors?
I only have two razors right now, but they both have names.
My Dovo blackstar with the green pakka scales is named Tiberius and my Dovo Best Quality is called Maximus. In case you were wondering, Tiberius was the name I chose for myself in my highschool Latin class and I've always had a fascination with it. Maximus is the name of one of my current dogs. I figure in this way, even after the dog is gone, I'll still have a way to remember him.
How about you guys? Anyone else name their razors or have a reason why they settled on that particular name?

Thanked: 2Tiberius
Good choice of name, the "T" in James T Kirk stood for Tiberius :-)

I have named a few. I think there was a Name Your Razor themed SOTD a while back. My Red Imp's are named Maharet and Mekare - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, and I have a Wosty Pipe called Keelan. Some of the others have names too, but not actual human names - more like nicknames.

haha i actually had a post about naming your razor when i first started with a straight.
I came up with these names:
Michele: A Henckels friodur that my fiance bought for me as a engagement present so i named it after her.
Woody: Henckels 401 Platinum name because of the wood scales.
The King: Thiers Issard razor name because it was my best razor at the time
since then i have a bought a Grelot and another friodur that i dont have names for yetShaving_story on Instagram

Thanked: 267THE ROMAN
SPARTICUS
Silly I know!
Sorry I guess I should have put this in and rather than bump the thread. They are Robert Williams in Giraffe bone. The Roman is 6/8 and Sparticus is a 13/16
Take Care,
Richard

being new to straight shaving, I got overconfident this AM after a very pleasant shave yesterday. I cut a hunk out of my jaw line, and had a very colorful name for my Dovo. Can't repeat it here.
