Yutahey.

I made the mistake of assuming the description "some hone wear" meant "some hone wear" instead of "completely ruined by an idiot". I made the mistake of assuming a 6/8 razor would actually be a 6/8 instead of having been honed to less than 5/8. I made the mistake of assuming the razor's hone wear must be just a reflection because there's NO way a top-of-the-line Theirs-Issard worked back razor that still has the sticker on the handle could POSSIBLY have the kind of damage it did. It wasn't a reflection in the blade at all. The f*king moron who bought the razor from Classic Shaving actually DID hone it to a friggin nub.

Anyway, I mentioned how dissatisfied I was with the razor and that I'd be OK to return it for a partial refund $100 out of the $130. I thought keeping the $30.00 and having the chance to snooker someone else with the same razor was pretty fair, but nope....

So, if you see anything you want from this guy, you need to be VERY, VERY sure that there aren't going to be any unpleasant surprises when you receive it.

I understand he's got more razors to sell and based on the condition of this one and the "sorry about your luck, Pal" attitude after the sale...... I'd steer clear and go for something from someone that has a good track record. Apparently, he got a negative feedback from John Crowley, too, but I didn't see that until it was too late.
