    Default I cut myself.

Damn it...I cut my thumb. Its been many years since I cut myself with a straight and many more years since I cut anything other than my face.
Damn it damn it damn it.
I was checking out a nice blade made in Brockton Mass. Nice 6/8'th blade, has a twin. anyways, I was rubbing the edge feeling for any problems with the edge and for some reason I pulled my thumb towards the blade instead of away from the edge and got a nice gash on my thumb. Serves me right for not paying closer attention.

Dont feel bad. Two weeks ago, i was sanding a blade and got my fingers too close to the edge of the sandpaper and cut the fire out of my finger.

    Ii feel your pain,

I cut myself after a relative para-cranial experience. I was at my dad's house with some polishing compound. After my mouth ran low on epithets my father looked up and in a helping manner, said "that is why God invented electrics". After asking him when he last shaved I had to show him my perfectly smooth face despite my shaving almost 12 hour before his last shave.

Isn't it nice when we can still teach our fathers something?

I don't cut myself to make anyone feel better but I did post this so all may see that we all make mistakes and should always be aware.

Please don't include me in your spurious generalizations!!!
(The tripple exclimation marks are intentional, not a mistake)

Did the same thing the other day... Passed the TPT..

"The sharp edge of a razor is difficult to pass over; thus the wise say the path to salvation is hard."
The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.
