Fraudulent eBay Sellers
If it does not already exist, we should start a list of disreputable eBay sellers to help protect members from their fraudulent practices.
For instance I purchased a razor off of eBay (6622295764) where the picture was a sheffield razor. It was listed as an old razor. When I recieved the item it was not the item in the picture, but rather a new paki-slicer!
I contacted the member, after which he justified his business practices by saying "did the razor say 'two golden men' on it?" (The razor recieved does) He never addressed the issue of the wrong picture.
So you guys don't get burnt by this person, his id is danhovis([email protected])

Thanked: 324I strongly recommend that you contact Ebay about this seller, then.
I reall despise the axeholes peddling that Pakistani junk on Ebay. Pakistan has become the center of cheap-knockoff manufacturing. I think the name "Two Golden Men" was their not-so-funny joke on the Henckels Twins logo.

Thanked: 1what he did is the "bait and switch" its not only against ebay policy it is illegal.
companies used to advertise a great sale on a desirable item. when the people got there they were told that the store was out of stock. the salesman would then try to sell them a different item. this was refered to as "the bait and switch" it was made illegal a long time ago.

Oh I am, trust me.
It only takes a few bad sellers to make the majority question the integrity of the whole system, and thereby hurting legitimate sellers. I had to use eBay in the past to survive when I was laid off. Consequently, I have a special interest in protecting both sellers and buyers on ebay...
