Default Theartofshaving.com deluxe set $3482.00 - Are they out of there mind???

Okay, at first when I saw 342 dollars for the art of shaving unscented set, I was suprised. Why so much, you get a brush, pre shave oil, shave cream, aftershave, and a glamourous mach 3 razor.

Then I clicked on sandalwood essential oil set. 712 dollars!!!

Then I clicked on the Lavender Essential Oil Set . 932 dollars!!!!

Then I clicked on the lemon essential oil....

OMG!!!!!!!! 3482 dollars. For a brush, razer, pre shave oil, shave cream, aftershave, and a stand!!!! WTF *curses at this company*

For 3482 dollars, I expect a damascus straight, with genuine ivory as the handle. Gold brush stand and gold brush. And freaking diamond dust in my oil, soap and aftershave. I have never in my life seen anyone ask such an OUTRAGEOUS price.

I originally thought this may have been a mistake , but when looking at the other prices, it looks like they are all different, some getting near 1000.
    3482 dollars for a mach 3 set...
Die theartofshaving.com lol... If I am being unfair here... tell me why... because I cant see ANY reason to charge that much

Wow! I was tempted to send them an email to see if their prices were in US dollars or Japanese yen.

I'm thinking they must be having a "website" issue.

The folks at AOS are nuts to charge that much. The sad thing is there are people who've probably bought that kit thinking they're really getting something rare and special. I guess P.T. Barnum was right.

I went back to "base" and added the Deluxe set to a shopping cart. $342 is the charge. Still ridiculous.

Okay...I have to admit...I ponied up $20 bucks for their shampoo. It is great stuff, and I got a bag full of samples, probably enough for 20 shaves! Apparently it is not safe to order from their website. However, contact them for samples by email and they will send you a nice kit. I found a local supplier!

I would say that if they are actually making sales at those prices then "nuts" is not the adjective i would use to describe them.
