shaving before going to bed

Am I the only person on earth who shaves in the evening, before going to bed? Sometimes, I wonder...

I don't know if that's a bad habit or a good habit, but it's certainly not going to change even if it would be better for my skin or whatever. Showering in the morning+shaving would take me like 30-60 minutes. 30-60 minutes of precious sleep that is.

In the morning, I just get up, brush my teeth, put on my clothes and go to work.

I love the feeling in the evening after a nice shower + nice shave, lying in bed, watching a simpsons episode or w/e and then falling asleep.


Anyone feeling with me?

I have to sometimes . . . if it's been a couple days since I shaved. The way my head lays on the pillow causes hairs to push into my skin.

I too shave at night. I utilize the experience as a method of relaxation and designed my routine around that. Whether a cold or hot shave I find the experience on par with a mild form of meditation. From rocking as I strop to the ice cube rubbing my face I have yet found another form of relaxation that I frequent in the evening. This is an amazing stride for someone who rarely shaved before hand.

I also shave at night. I have two small children and the only time I can relax and enjoy my shave is at night! Also I have jiu-jitsu class four nights a week and need to shower before going to bed, so it makes sense to shave then. I just wish I could enjoy feeling my face more, like when I used to shave in the morning.

I also must add that sleeping without showering first sickens me. The idea of spreading the filth from the day on my pillow is just too much for me.

I'm a sleepshaver. It's nice to go to bed bearded and wake up bbs lots of nicks though...

I always shave at night. Been doing that since the mid eighties when I worked mid-nights.

I always shave in the evening, just before going to bed.
That way i can sleep 10 minutes longer at morning.

Sometimes I shave at night, but I look better for the day when I shave in the morning
