Thanked: 8What recommendation for 7/8 or 8/8
Hi All,
I'm collecting a few straights now and want to try a big sucker. Any recommendations for 7/8 or full 8/8 I should look for ?.
I'm actually growing a goatee (used to have one) so as to avoid the upper lip and chin (yeah I know I'm cheating). so shape is not too important. Square, Spike, French would all be OK.
Doesn't have to be modern but really mint-ish.
Thanks
Gary

Check out John Crowley's stuff at http://www.shavingshop.com. He carries more 7/8s and 8/8s than anybody else I'm aware of. Even has Henckel's 7/8 and 8/8 Friodurs (ask clarman about 'em) on sale for $100. Free domestic shipping, too.

Thanked: 8Another question then. Disregarding the price, what would be your top 2 pics of the bunch ?. A little guidance please.
Thanks

It's a bit like visiting a chocolate factory.
Oh well it's only money, but then again it helps if you have some.

If so, I'll probably keep it.Same price, same blade shape, same handles...slightly different grind than the Mella, but we'll see. As long as I get one or the other, and the Friodur, I'll be happy.
