Red Imps
I just won one off ebay, having heard a few good things about them in the past. They always seem to sell well (I've been beaten on them in about 10 auctions).
Anybody here have any experience with them? Good, or bad?

Thanked: 2209The model 132 is a "wedge" and the 133 is a bi-concave full hollow grind.

Thanks, Randy. It's gonna need just a bit of TLC, but I think it's going to clean up very well. Looks like a 6/8, but it's probably a 5/8. It's the 133, btw.

I have a 133 and it is an outstanding razor. The only thing I find is that it's a spikepoint to the extreme and the spike seems to actually flare out maybe a mm. Its not noticeable visually but while your shaving you have to be especially careful or that spike will get you more so than other spikepoints.

I've never used one of these razors, but I'd be willing to bet that their popularity has a lot to do with their name. Red Imp. Who wouldn't want one of those!! I know I do.
I've actually been wanting a straight razor with red scales for some time now.

The red imp wedge came last week and to my amazement it has never been used...boy was I revved, so all i need to do is be successful with a hone as I got my combination stones this week for 77 pounds inc shipping.
