I ordered a new razor, it was entrapment by Joe!
I was just reading posts as usual and joe just HAS to post a link for henkels razors...and I just HAD to buy this one, I tried not to, but I was afraid if i didnt get it now, I would never find it again and it was just love at first site...I think I'll use it to shave on my wedding day (or at least thats how I'll justify the price lol)

Wow great looking razor. That is what you want against your face before you get married.

Glad I could help. Enjoy it, and have a great shave on your wedding day. Just another data point, though (to quote the Professor)...if you're fighting, hide your razors. If you ever get caught cheating...sell your razor collection, or never sleep.

Nice razor.
But man, the white Friodur (with the same blade) is on that page for 99.00 -- so those were like, sixty dollar scales!
I imagine that's what grabbed your attention, though, so that probably doesn't matter to you.
That's going to be a great shaver.

Friodurs are really nice shavers. The scales are really neat on that one, which makes it even harder to pass up. Enjoy it while you can JL... many wives don't understand the razor obsession. Best bet is to compare you razor collection to her shoe collection, LOL.

JL,
What a beautiful razor. That's a perfect gift to yourself for your wedding day. Wow.
One day, when your grandkids reach shaving age, you can give them that razor and teach them the skill of straight razor shaving. And John, those are some classy razors. Some of the nicest I've seen.

I know what you're talking about. I bought a 7/8 with the white Henkels Twins scales about a month ago. Then had to have the 8/8 with the plain black scales. They were both bought from John and they were honed perfectly. I definitely recommend John's Store. www.shavingshop.com

Dude, you da man! That's a fabulous looker, undoubtedly a great shaver, and teh best excuse I've heard so far for buying another razor. Well done, JL.
