    Default First razor shave

I found a local barber who said they did straight razor shaves for $10, so i went in, wanting to look sharp for the wine tasting i'm attending today (invited by my old wine teacher from school).

So i went in, and true to his word, they laid me back, hit me with a steam towel, and started shaving. unfortunately, it was a straight with a disposable blade, so it still had that oversharp, disposable feeling, but the shave was much closer than i've ever gotten before...

overall, a good first experience, because it made me want to get a real blade, and learn how to do it better!

Using a disposable blade is required by law in most states because of the risk of transmitting diseases.

Still, its good you found a good barber that still knows how to do it. And its good you got a good first taste to wet your appatite for more.
