I second that Bill. I am starting to feel like you did a month or so ago Larry is starting to look better or maybe I am turning gay. Whatever.............

I also wanted to thank Lynn for starting this forum. It has been a Godsend to have the quality of people on this forum whether it be for honing, stroping, general infomation, art form, restoration, good chating, laughs, comradery or whatever. With all of that it relates to having a cool looking razor to wake up to and start the day out right with a good shave.
    Thanks Lynn dude,
if anything has been abnormal for a long enough period it then becomes normal.

Had I not found this place, I would have been shaving with a pakistani piece of crap, stropping it on a "strop" worthy of such a "great" razor and honing it on an oilstone which I wouldn't use on my lawnmower blade now lol. The guys most deserving of my gratitude on this front (other than Lynn for starting this) are Nenad and X. Ofcourse if I listed everyone else who helped me along, this post would turn into a novel and then there were guys who helped me with non-shaving issues.. See where this is going? Therefore I'm extending a general "Thank You/Merci/Gracias/Spasiba/Gracie/Hvala/Obrigado" to the SRP community and pass out (gotta get up early tomorrow morning).

    Red face Aw, Shucks

    You're Welcome/C'est Rien/ Di Nada/etc.
Those last romance reponses are really the truest. I'm just doing what others did for me and I hope more will carry on the tradition too. This means you!

Will do. Btw my missionary work isn't going too well. Lost touch with one, another went back up north for the summer, but the third potential convert should be done with his exams and ready to accept the better way of shaving.

    Lynn,

As has been said other times before, this forum is the reason for my shaving with a straight as well. And thanks to you for making it and your willingness to help us noobs out when we need it. Even over the phone, in emails and posts, and driving or flying to ppls homes to help them learn to
hone razors, have a drink and cigar and such.

You and the other members even give away implements to get ppl started and that is great in itself.

All you guys and gals that post and help out all the others on this site are the best.

My father-in-law was asking about it. I'm wondering how serious he is. I'll have to gingerly raise the topic at Mothers' Day brunch. I've got a Dubl Duck or two which just might suit him. I don't know about the Freudian symbolism behind putting a razor sharp instrument in your wife's dad's hands, but Im sure it's not good.

Hey man, if you give him a nice starter kit, a full primer on the lifestyle and a link to this site, you'll be his fav. son in law even if he has other daughters I hope I also luck out with that lol.

You know the old saying. "You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink"
