Reddit/Digg communities to promote straights.
For the unfamiliar, Digg and Reddit are both social news sites. Basically people submit links to these sites, and the membership votes on the ones they like. Long ago the Great One asked for people to join the SRP Digg Army and our little community was formed here on SRP.
Digg recently unveiled a fatal new site design and a large portion of the community, including myself, migrated over to the smaller-at-the-time competitor, Reddit (geeky details about the exodus here). I lurked for a few weeks and registered not too long ago. There are already a few shaving subcommunities, and a recently-created one seems to have a nice little following:
Straight and double edge community
No SRP links (yet!), but there were a few submitted from Max's website. Not sure if the moderator of the group is a member on SRP -- if they are, it's not with the same nickname.
So sign up at Reddit if you're interested and maybe we can get a little more exposure for this hobby. Comments or questions welcome.

i'm aeonblack on reddit, feel free to friend me! reddit ads are also a really great option to consider. people can comment on them and discussions can start right on the reddit page for the ad. it would be good to get a few of us in there discussing straight razors if we could get a sponsored ad going.

If you look at the top of the main page, the first result is a sponsored ad, it changes every time the page refreshes, and you can comment on them. Pretty cool stuff, and from what I hear, really affordable. You can even do something like a sponsored IAMA as far as I know, which could also be really good.
