Theres plenty of straights pictured as weapons.
The one that upset me the most was the killer in "The Lovely Bones" who constantly had a straight pictured in his "kit", way creepy.
The funniest one i ever saw was Paul Greco in "The Warriors", handling a rather nice shoulderless...

Funniest criminal with a straight razor must have been Michael Madsen in Reservoir Dogs - did you guys see his ad for Madsen Straights?

Another novel that uses a straight razor in a murder is John Sandford's Broken Prey. But I have wondered...it seems to me that a straight razor would be a horrible weapon. I mean, the pivot? When I cut, I want my blade to be rigidly supported by the grip. It seems to me that a straight, with it's tendency to pivot back away from resistance on the edge, would be a really ungainly weapon and one that, if any struggle at all ensued, would be as likely to hurt the killer as the killee.
