Thread: Interesting razor and case

I came across a interesting item on ebay today. its item# 6629482611. It has a case that l think (uh oh getting into dangerous territory) serves as strop as well as a hone. One side has a hone attached and the other leather. Check it out. Its pretty interesting. Makes me think that Vladasch could probably come up with a really nice setup like that as well.

Pretty nifty, if I say so myself!! Vlad could definitely duplicate that.

Awhile back we had a discussion over a similar item and I don't remember who it was who said they would look into a production run with something similar to that. I don't remember anything else being said about it other than there were some logistical problems with the hone, strop combo. I think it was being talked about as a travel type setup and there were concerns about moisture affecting either the leather or the razor or maybe vise versa.

I believe Tilly worked with Tony to create the cushioned strop hone (scroll down, it's there).
