Coticule from The Perfect Edge
What do you think of the coticule from The Perfect Edge - their prices are much lower than Tony at The Well-Shaved Gentleman or at www.shaving-and-razor-shop.com.

I can't imagine there's any difference in the stones themselves.

The gentleman who owns The Perfect Edge used to be a regular contributor here; I haven't seen Howard in a few months though. Tony sells top-notch stuff and is quite happy to answer people's questions. The shaving-and-razor-shop.com site is outside the US,so make sure you're taking exchange rates into account.

Joe is correct, the stones are identical AND actually so were the prices <g>.
A 3x8 was $175 no matter where you bought it, Howard or I. A 2x8 was $115. I did have a few naturals, yellow and blue together, both Howard and I sold them for $250 in 3x8, maybe you confused those prices with the common stones. Are you sure you were comparing yellow to yellow stones? The blue are much cheaper. Moot point though as I no longer represent their products.
ps. Just checked the Shaving and Razor Shop, same prices.

Shipping charges could kill any savings you may get on the price and transit times are BRUTAL. I was forced to order through a German site, since Tony was OOS on coticules. It's been over a month and I'm ready to go down there and murder someone and then start murdering DHL employees lol. As for Tony, he's fast with his shipping, charges a minimum, his merchandise is premium... Can't say a bad word about him.

On a side note, I mentioned there's no difference in the stones themselves...that's true, but as has been mentioned shipping might eat up the savings, and shipping times can be ridiculous. In addition, Tony is a regular contributor here, and is available (most of the time) to answer questions, and resolve any problems you might have. It's best (IMO) to support those who support those places we congregate and exchange info.

Thanks for the kind words guys. This is as much a hobby as a business and that keeps me here posting and answering questions when I can.
As for savings, well, someone needs to show me where they are cheaper!
Thanks,

Okay,
What Tom meant was that The Perfect Edge also sells SMALLER stones which are therefore priced cheaper.............not that my stones (of the same size) were priced higher. Howard and I sold at retail which was identical for us both.
Thanks for the PM Tom.

Right now The Perfect Edge and Shaving and Razor shop are the only two sources for Belgians. I no longer sell these but will be offering some vintage Belgian yellow Coticules as well as vintage Eschers from a collection I have access to.
I will make a post when they are ready for sale.
