Here are a couple of the Rose Damascus prototypes that I am testing for the Maestro. The Rose is a little thinner stock and can only be made up to 6/8 but still pretty cool. The Maestro has changed the temper on these a little and they really turned out to be super shavers. Niiiiiiiiice..............

Shweet... Are they softer or harder tempered? I like the scales too I realy think the temper is the most important quality of the razor. The diference in edge hardness is mirrored in comfort of the shave. I noticed this with my softer steel razors, they responded better with the Coticule stone, and this morning I got great shave. The harder razors are a bit slower and trickier to reach that level of comfort...
