Thread: Directly from Coticule to Strop?

Does the coticule put a sharp enough edge on a blade to go directly from the coticule to the strop to shaving?

Tom,

I don't think you will get a clear answer to that as each razor is different and each person is different. That will be something only you can tell

the coticule is supposed to be used after you have done most of your honing and are just refining the edge, so yes, if you have honed it right after the coticule you should strop then shave!
