I'm on a "blocked" computer now, but earlier, I believe Richard was the leading bidder. So, once I am home, I plan to also bid, but I don't know if I can bid high enough on this. It's #84, I already have #89!

What if some collector just up and decides to buy one and then his family auctions it upon his passing? Is that a traitor?
cmon guys. no need to be offended by it. These things ARE available to the public and quite frankly it's good PR imaging to have this stuff out and about.
Honestly, if the seller is someone who tried to hijack SRP with someone else I wouldn't want to bid it up too much. If you really want it just say so on here then snipe it so you're not giving him any more money than necessary . cuz in the end, if he even gets his money back, he "wins" .

Thanked: 2LX,
I was suggesting that since the auction is beling followed by some of our members, we should contact the winning bidder at auction close. Let him know where it came from and invite him over.

Thanked: 4942I thought the idea of recruiting the cycle dudes was cool and it would have been great for the group if the guys would have used it, given us some exposure and joined as well. Much different than the guy who is selling the razor. Lynn

Now if we could just get them to send us choppers we'd be in business
Though I prefer a classic fatboy myself

I say "treason" in jest. You're obviously free to do whatever you like with your razors, wopmanfixit.
Besides, how exclusive are these things if all it takes to get one is twenty seconds of registration time? If this place was serious about it, they'd require a minimum of 400 posts before you could earn a club razor.

Hmmm. I didn't realize you could buy a razor with SRP on it.

I guess I'm confused. I thought you could buy the srp razor at classicshaving.com whether or not you're a member here. am I wrong on that?

Yeah, you've got to provide your Straight Razor Place username when you order the razor.
But again, how difficult would that be?
