Default Wade and Butcher Lovers: I got another one. Have a look!

I was crusing eBay a week or so ago and came across a guy who had listed a Wade and Butcher razor. The single photo he provided was a little grainy, but the shape of the blade looked really nice to me, so I decided to jump on it. There was a "Buy it Now" price of 20 dollars, so the transaction was immediate.

I came home from work a little while ago to find it in my mail box. This is my third Wade and Butcher, and I think it's my favourite of the three. I think this blade design is the coolest out there. Very sexy. It's got nice curves, but it's sharp and defined in all the right places.

    Here it is:

Looks nice. Is it just me or can we pick up high quality Sheffield steel even in photos?

Heh heh. I'm sure you'll forgive my hanging on to this one.

I just measured the blade, and it's just over 6/8ths of an inch.

Here's a comparison shot, with the new W&B at the top right. (I kind of wanted to take a picture of it with my favourite razors, too. )

I'll trade you a 6/8 Puma or Bismarck for it.

Most of the time the "buy it now" price is higher than what it would go for. You took a small risk with the bad picture and scored big time. Very nice looking indeed!

I'd be interested in seeing pictures of those razors, Joe. Feel free to PM me with them. Can't say for sure whether I'm ready to part with this one, but I'll consider it.

That's a beautiful W&B. Are the scales plastic or are they bone or perhaps something else?

I know I am going to regret asking this but what is so special about wade & butcher.

I am ready to be parraded around the streets as a witch , and then be stoned.
