Thanked: 0Home from the Middle East
Hi everyone,
Just a quick note to let y'all know I'm back stateside for a little while. I've been back a week now and started rotating through all the Straights I've collected so far to find the ones for a daily rotation and putting away the ones that need work. I'm loving the 2 I got from Bill Ellis (Thanks Bill, used the Morley today and wow nice shave), and waiting on my first Wade & Butcher from ebay. I'm glad I got so much advice from everyone as I was first learning (though I'm still learning and probably will be the rest of my life). It's made this so much easier and more enjoyable. The Wifey has already said "you've got too many razors already" but she loves me and I'm sure my collection will grow over the coming years. Anyways, glad to be back and learning again.

Welcome back to the civilized (yeah right) world. Actually I like the middle-eastern culture. My mom and uncle grew up there and I lived with a few Libyan roommates in Sudbury. Great guys, extremely hospitable and very respectful of my Western upbringing. When they'd invite me ot their communal meals, they'd pour my (generous) portion into the plate before they started eating. Because of them, I'm a regular at this little Lebanese takeout place in the neighborhood. (similar cuisine) I'm glad you're enjoying the straights. You got the two from the right place. You're fortunate to have such an understanding wife. My female friends think I'm crazy lol.

Welcome home. Did you have any straights with you while you were there?

Thanked: 0Sorry, ate all the Humus, and didn't bring any of my Straights over cause I was worried (needlessly as I discovered) about losing them to Customs when I flew back stateside.
