We all start that way. Who would ever need more than one razor???

    Me I guess.

This is becoming at least as bad as my smoking. At least it's PHYSICALLY healthier if not mentally

Yeah, it gets a bit ridiculous. Ten months into this hobby, I've got over a dozen straight razors, and just yesterday I bought myself a Merkur DE.

But now that I've got that stuff, I'm officially set.

    ...for a while, at least.

I think that really depends on how steady your hand is with that blade in it.

Shavind has the potential to be just as dangerous as smoking, and a whole lot more sudden!

    Right on, Dan!

There's got to be a name for the psychological phenomenon that surrounds these acquisition disorders. We call ourselves addicts, but we do so proudly and with a sense of humor. However, true addicts generally try to deny their addictions...

... I wonder what that makes us.

Tony Holmes is a UK seller on E-bay. His account name is portal5. He hits fleamarkets and estate sales and gets/cleans/sells lots of great Sheffield (plus the occasional Solingen) that are not as well known as they should be. You can get real steals from him. By the way his descriptions are very accurate, so heed any warnings that he gives you.

    Well Mr Shark Hat
If thats the case we have to set some rules
I would say that most here have more than one hobby and toys associated with that hobby, therefore we have to work out what each toy is worth with respet to razors eg maybe one pistol is worth 10 razors or two realy good razors
I`ve obviously got too much time on my hands
I`m feeling a bit shattered at the moment, I`m up to my third set of scales for my d/d and ground the side of one of my fingers
I cant help my self ,I`m heading back to the workshop
Addiction Ha I can stop any time I want to
