Default WTF??? - Three cuts in one shave - 666

I cut myself so rarely that I had to look hi and low for the styptic pencil today. I stropped up my trusty Friodur and started my shave as usual. It felt fine until I snagged some skin on my right cheek. I didn't think about it, but did it again on my left cheek. Anyway, after three bleeding wounds, I figured this was either the devil enjoying his day or a nick in my blade. Either way, the SOB who did thisis going to hell. I really need better storage.

    Regards

Thanks, Nenad. Later tonight I'll post a pic of him with the shave gear I gave him for graduation. No straights, but at least he's not using a Fusion or a Quattro!

Why's he resisting it? You should have a little talk with him and set him straight.

I bet he's getting a Merkur HD, a SavileRow brush, and a nice tub of English cream, say Taylor's??

    Nenad,

One out of three. HD Classic, Crabtree & Evelyng Badger Brush, and for creams/soaps, Proraso tub, Charles Tywhritt Lemon & Cedar shaving cream, C&E Almond shaving cream, Arko shave stick. He has already stolen several of my soaps, so he is stocked up for his first year of college. As far as pushing him towards a straight, he'll ask if he's interested. I'm just glad he's not using the Fusion or the Quattro. Once he dropped the electric for the Gillette I gave him months ago, there was a definite change in his complexion. He's enjoying using a brush and soaps and creams (he's had the SCS Shaving brush for sometime now) so I'll let him work at his own pace.

Forbid the use of any of your straight razors in no uncertain terms. After that, you'll find half of your collection gone and your son with a suspiciously clean-shaved face

Then you use a leather belt while waiting for the new one to arrive from Tony's. Therefore you have an excuse to get more razors and more gear. A win-win situation
