Default Do not buy this book....

    So I purchased this book...
Teach Yourself the Cut-Throat Shave by Luke Leadbitter

    http://www.gentlemans-shop.com/acata...ve_.html#a1201

And I have to say I'm highly dissapointed with what I received. The book cost 6.38 british pounds which comes out to about $11.50, not including shipping (which was not cheap coming to the US). Well the book really wasn't worth the money I paid for it. It didn't have any information about caring for your razor, honing it or stropping it. The shave information was pretty bare bones at that, with nothing about face prep. Just thought I'd share my misfortune. Someone should write a real book about straight razor shaving.

Anyone who refers to a straight razor as a "cut-throat" shouldn't be writing a book on the subject of shaving.

Errr, that's what every single British person calls them. Unless this fellow isn't British, then it's open season on him.

Thanks for the heads-up on a substandard book.

    Smile Welcome, Aaron

That might be a very good idea indeed. I'll PM you on that.

I know that's what they call them. I stand by my statement.
