Hi Guys,
We made it to Rome and we meet the Maestro on Saturday. Get ready for some exiting news when I get back. Wowza, what a very cool Country. We are having a ball.

Great news, Lynn!
I've always wanted to go to Italy and I'm seriously considering it for my honeymoon in October.

Yeah, sounds cool. Planning to drop in on any old time Italian barber shops, or just the Maestro?

Italy is a great place to visit. The architecture is amazing. Seeing the dates on some businesses will flip you out too. I remember stopping off at a bank that had a carving over the door: "In business since 1476".
Just watch out for "tourist pricing". When I was there I felt like I was being skinned alive by all the price gouging in tourist hot spots.

Great stuff Lynn. The only time I've been to Italy, I was too young to appreciate the historical goodies. Take full advantage of them and of the food, but stay away from the women if you don't want your wife to have something to say about it

Be careful with the pricing. A friend of mine ( Italian by ancestory) went a number of years back and told me it was a country of thieves. Prices changed so dramatically his head spun. For example he was in Venice and the price first offered him for a gondola ride was $125 ahe was walking away it dropped to 75 and then 35. I don't know if he went. wow talk about startting bids being high.
