I don't use a sniping program from my own computer, I use a sniping service. I use bidnip

They gave me five free snipes to start with, then you can buy extra snipes at a quarter or so apiece as well as getting them via referrals. If you want to sign up to try it out, (free trial with 5 snipes btw) please use me as a referral. If you just click on the above link, it includes my referral code, otherwise use my email address ([email protected]) on page 2 of the signup.

I've sniped 4 or 5 times using it and each time it was dead on to the second when I set it to snipe. Works pretty good and I don't have to worry about my comcast going down or my clock getting out of sync or anything like that. You can use your first five snipes and if you don't like it you aren't out a dime, also.

Latest time I used it was to snipe a pipe razor for Vlad (they wouldn't ship internationally so I'll ship it to him myself). Picked it up for $9 not counting shipping.

Oh, and snipes don't get used up unless you actually win an auction, so if you snipe and lose the bid you don't lose your snipe.

I will look into Bidnip. I will use your name. There is only one on there now I am interested in. I really need to back off, I have enough for now. Robert worked a miracle on one I sent him that was my grandfathers. Which gives me 3 right now.
    Item # I won was 6636196646
By the way it wasn't sniped. It was a "legit" bid.

Thanks, made it by a hair. $4 more on someone's bid and my snipe bid would have been too low.

I only want to give it custom scales, I probably won't keep it. I have wanted to make custom scales for a Friodur for a while now. All the 8/8's are going at higher prices and I keep getting outbid. I guess I am too cheap.

I also lost a nice frameback by only $0.12, this is how it sometimes goes.

Yeah, that's the cruel thing about ebay. The winner always just about gets it, whereas the second-highest always gets outbid by either the minumum increment or pennies.
Sometimes it's helpful to remember that this has to be this way because of the way ebay works or otherwise one would start to suspect a conspiracy or voodoo or something

I just got outbid again. But I wasn't going near that high. If I would have bid high enough to get it I would living under bridge next week. What kind of lather does bayou water make? I could heat it up with a little Sterno.
