Great experience with SRD! First purchase.
Hello,
I placed an order with SRD for my very first ever Straight Razor. I went with the dovo silver steel with ebony scales in the wet shave kit. It was quickly shipped out the very next day and arrived 2 days later.
I was concerned because I could not figure out how to take advantage of the free shipping for orders over $250, and the package did not contain my Simpson Badger brush and I received one incorrect product. I contacted them through email and explained the situation, I was a bit pessimistic in expecting a poor response to solve the situation, however, Don, emailed me back the very next day (on a saturday) with a solution that really was above and beyond what I had expected. I am awaiting the missing products and hopefully they will ship them out with expedited shipping. I can't go into the details for fear that someone may take advantage of their kindness and great customer service, but I can say this; it seems customer satisfaction is their top priority, and so far, it shows. They could quite possibly have a new customer for life.

Thanked: 1263I recently purchased a red latigo strop from SRD..my first purchase and definatly wont be my last..the strop arrived quickly and incredibly well packaged. Fantastic service! And the strop is beautiful I might add!

Beautiful indeed! I was skeptical and assumed that because it may be considered "entry level or cheap" it would be flimsy or ugly.( I ordered the latigo, basic strop at 3" because it was the least expensive.) Not at all the case, I am very impressed with the rivets and hardware, very classy! The SRD logo is pretty nice as well. Of course the leather is amazing, very high quality stuff here, and beautiful. I went with the red as well and I could not be happier.

I've only had wonderful dealings with SRD myself. I've recieved one item that was very slightly damaged (which was the fault of the manufacturer, not them) and they offered to replace it for free, or if I wanted to keep it (since the damage was very minimal) they would refund most of my money.
