Thanked: 2209Different steel. The wonderedge is better, about $100 more.

What is a fair price?
The Goldedge = $20 - $150 poor to near mint
The Wonderedge = $30 - $250 poor to near mint
I am not saying these are fair just about what you could expect to pay.

The wonderedge was the last in the razor lineup from pearlduck with the exception of the elusive stainless duck. It uses a cryogenic blade treatment and better quality steel. Personally I have em all and I think the other ducks are basically the same but with either fancier blade treatments or scales. They all shave very similar that is to say fantastic but the wonderedge will maintain its edge much longer.

Because Im so nice....and because I cant afford it at the moment, you may want to look into this... $130 NOS goldenedge....I dont know anything about the store, but its not ebay, it looks legit to me. I cant tell if the razor is really NOS or not, but I havent looked that close, you may want to check out the photos.

Thanked: 2Hey wait a minute! I posted a thread about this razor a couple weeks ago and everybody who posted said it wasn't worth it, even if the ducks were still blue and it showed no hone wear. Well that's just great! The ONE TIME everybody shows restraint, it's when I'm looking for a push! Well, I couldn't afford it anyways. Glad someone here got it. Good luck with the duck.
By the way, all "ducks" are the product of Bresduck Inc. (est. 1930), which changed it's name to Pearlduck in 1952. The owners name was Carl Bresnick and razors can be marked "Dubl-Duck" "Dubl (two ducks)Duck" "Lifetime" "Napoleon" "Deutsch" "Beau Brummel" "Satinedge" and "Bresduck". I have heard of razors floating around with the owners name "Bresnick" used as a trademark, though it's not mentioned in my book.
